  • The training was a life changing experience. I knew Lisa as a student and had liked Kripalu yoga style and her way to enriching the class by assisting the students with anatomy- based safety recommendations. I knew that Kripalu was the style I wanted to teach: a balanced practice that combines safe asana, pranayama, moving meditation and awareness. The training was a long term program that allowed the necessary time to settle concepts down. There was time to read books and deepen the practice. Slowly, my daily life was fully immerse in yoga. Time was such an important factor to awakening the spiritual and physical awareness that I needed to become a yoga teacher. Lisa is not only knowledgeable but generous with her knowledge. Questions are answered in a way that they serve as cues. She transmits her experience, not just concepts. I did the yoga teacher training having a strong background in bio-medical science. The training changed my perspective about some physiological processes and my approach to the deep understanding of certain pathological aspects such as the chronic illness and the journey to overpower it. I feel inspired to continue on the path to enjoying while teaching.

  • The Glowing Lotus Program was over a 12 month period and our instructor spent time educating us on the fundamentals of the Yoga Sutras and how to incorporate the understanding of our body to each of the postures. The year went by to fast I enjoyed the class tremendously. Lisa McQuade is a fantastic instructor. I enjoy taking her classes and I enjoy that she continues to take classes from others. She has been a mentor in many ways and I know I made the right decision to start the practice of yoga. My life has become a healthier and happy place.
